By registering and using LetsMakan, you agree to these terms. Our platform connects Travellers with Home Hosts, Makan Guides, and Foodie Buddies across Malaysia.
LetsMakan charges a 20% platform fee on all bookings — experiences (Home Host), food trails (Makan Guide), and Foodie Buddy sessions. Providers receive 80%. This fee is deducted from the provider's payout, not added to the customer's price.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the experience starts. After that, the full payment is charged unless the host's policy states otherwise. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Home Hosts and Makan Guides are fully responsible for food safety, hygiene, and the safety of travellers during the experience. LetsMakan is not liable for any incident, injury, or loss that occurs during the experience.
Any attempt to defraud, falsify identity, or misuse the platform may result in account suspension without notice and legal action.
Any dispute between Travellers and Hosts/Guides must be reported to LetsMakan within 48 hours after the experience. We will investigate and make a final decision within 7 business days.
